Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Booking Conditions:

A completed booking form and non-refundable deposit of 20% is required within 14 days of booking to confirm your reservation. Failure to make deposit and final payment as per Yeeda Kimberley Tours Confirmation & Payment Order, issued at time of booking, shall entitle Yeeda Kimberley Tours to cancel a booking. Overdue payment allows Yeeda Kimberley Tours to consider the booking void.

If the customer cancels:

Customers who wish to cancel must immediately inform in writing Yeeda Kimberley Tours (YKT). When the written notice has been received by YKT, the cancellation will then take effect. The following cancellation charges apply:

  • If a customer cancels more than 90 days from departure the customer will receive a full refund.
  • If a customer cancels between 60 and 90 days of departure the customer will forfeit 25% of the tour price.
  • If a customer cancels between 30 and 60 days of departure the customer will forfeit 50% of the tour price.
  • If a customer cancels 30 days or less days prior to the departure date, the customer will forfeit the full 100% of the tour price.
  • If a customer leaves the trip early for any reason the customer will forfeit the full 100% of the tour price.

Customers are strongly encouraged to take out their own cancellation insurance.

Cancellation by Yeeda Kimberley Tours:

Every effort will be made not to cancel a trip. It is the right of Yeeda Kimberly Tours (YKT) to cancel or postpone any of its tours at any time prior to departure. This would usually be because of conditions such as bad weather, road and traffic conditions, severe storms or other natural disasters, lack of passengers, mechanical defect, an event that is beyond the control of YKT and any other circumstance where changing the itinerary is not practicable. If YKT does cancel a trip the customer may choose between using the amount paid towards an alternative YKT trip or be refunded in full. In the event of cancellation, YKT will not accept or pay for any liability for incidental expenses (e.g. visas, vaccinations or non-refundable travel and airfares).

Unacceptable behaviour on tours:

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, unacceptable behaviour by guests will not be tolerated. Unacceptable behaviours may take different forms and could include unwelcome advances to other passengers, drunkenness, rude or aggressive behaviour, degrading sacred sights or the environment etc. YKT staff reserve the right to expel guests for unacceptable behaviour at any time during a tour. No refunds are provided. Any additional costs incurred in returning an expelled guest to Broome will be at an expelled guests expense.

If not already paid this will include an invoice for the deposit of $1850 per person (or full payment if less than one month before departure).

Single Occupancy or Share Facility:

Accommodation is based on twin share/double occupancy. Single passengers may reserve sole use of a tent for an additional 50% of the per person rate. Alternatively, if travelling alone you can also choose to share your tent with a same sex room-mate and the single supplement fee will be waived. If we do not book another passenger into your cabin you will have sole use of the cabin at no additional cost.


We require the Final Payment no later than 60 days prior to your departure. Failure to pay the final payment by due date will result in the cancellation of the booking and forfeit of deposit. Payment options are cheque, direct deposit or credit card.

Non Payment:

If full payment is not made on or prior to the due date YKT will reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled.

Health/Age Limit/Fitness:

We have no upper age limit as people’s physical abilities vary and are not necessarily age related. Please remember that you need to be able to walk on uneven ground into gorges for a duration of approximately three kilometres. Please let us know on booking if you have a medical condition which may affect you while you are on tour. Please contact us if you wish to book children, minimum age is 16 years.


The nature of the tour offered is conducted in a remote wilderness area and means that in some places and under some circumstances passengers may face dangers and discomfort. Should this happen each passenger should be prepared for and accept the risks involved with a trip of this nature. While all due care is taken by Yeeda Kimberley Tours to avoid unnecessary risks, ultimately all responsibility for damage or loss of personal property, illness, accident or death, lies with the passenger.

Yeeda Kimberley Tours includes helicopter flights in the itinerary and take all reasonable care in selecting these operators. However we cannot accept responsibility for the operators conduct or the conduct of their employees for any ramifications of that conduct.

Yeeda Kimberley Tours does not accept any liability for losses, costs or expenses suffered as a delay in delivery of services due to an unexpected event or prevailing weather conditions. Yeeda Kimberley Tours does not accept liability for any action on behalf of any other carriers that may result in passengers failing to meet the conditions set down for any Yeeda Kimberley Tour.

Yeeda Kimberley Tours will take all reasonable steps to provide an enjoyable tour. We accept no liability for any loss of enjoyment experienced by passengers due to circumstances beyond our control. Liability breach of contract arising from or caused by, directly or indirectly, force majeure, war, industrial dispute, civil unrest, natural disaster, act of God or unforeseen circumstances will not be accepted by Yeeda Kimberley Tours.
